		&lt;img height="126" alt="Dr. Robert Pargament" hspace="10" src="http://physicians.wellspan.org/images/pargament_robert_md.jpg" width="90" align="left" /&gt;For the second year in a row, Robert I. Pargament, MD, has received the 2010 Dean's Special Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching from Drexel University College of Medicine.  Dr. Pargament serves as clinical director as well as clinical faculty for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at York Hospital.  He also serves as an attending on the Inpatient Service at Apple Hill Internal Medicine.</description><pubDate>Mon, 24 May 2010 12:00:00 AM GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Kevin Muzzio, M.D. receives GoldenApple Award for excellence</title><link>http://www.yorkhospital.edu/default.aspx?program=0&amp;type=news&amp;content=9363&amp;src=rss</link><description>

				&lt;img alt="Kevin Muzzio, M.D." hspace="10" src="http://physicians.wellspan.org/images/muzzio_kevin_r_md.jpg" align="left" /&gt;Kevin Muzzio, MD was presented with the Golden Apple Award for excellence in teaching by the third-year medical students at the Drexel University College of Medicine.  &lt;/p&gt;
		&lt;p&gt;This prestigious award is presented to three faculty physicians and three residents annual.  Faculty and residents from Drexel University College of Medicine and their 25 affiliated hospitals are eligible to receive this award.  &lt;/p&gt;
		&lt;p&gt;The faculty and residents are nominated and voted on by the medical students.  Kevin attended a formal award ceremony at Drexel on Tuesday, April 6 where he received his award.&lt;/p&gt;

				&lt;img height="126" alt="Rakesh Patel, M.D." hspace="10" src="http://physicians.wellspan.org/images/patel_rakesh_md.jpg" width="90" align="left" vspace="10" /&gt;  &lt;br /&gt;Rakesh Patel, MD,  a member of the Department of Pediatrics at York Hospital,  was selected as Pediatrics Teacher of the Year by the Penn State-Hershey College of Medicine.   A graduate of St. George's University School of Medicine, Dr. Patel served his residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital and a fellowship at the University of Medicine &amp;amp; Dentistry in New Jersey.  Dr. Patel is a pediatric hospitalist who joined York Hospital in 2006. &lt;/p&gt;

		&lt;p&gt;Michael Bohrn, MD, Senior Associate Residency Program Director and Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Emergency Medicine, York Hospital, received  the June Klinghoffer, MD Clinical Educator Award, from Drexel University College of Medicine.   June Klinghoffer , an exemplary teacher and scholer,  was one of the founding physicians of the Women's Medical College of Pennsylvania.   This prestigious award has seldom been given to a faculty member at an affiliated institution.&lt;/p&gt;
