Women’s Health News at WellSpan: Laser Treatment Now Available at MedSpa at Wyntre Brook. - WellWomen - Wednesday, May 05, 2010Women’s Health News at WellSpan: Laser Treatment Now Available at MedSpa at Wyntre Brook.

It just got easier to receive laser treatment for common medical conditions such as Rosacea, stretch marks, varicose and spider veins.  The MedSpa at Wyntre Brooke, located at 50 Wyntre Brooke Drive in York, recently installed a state-of-the art laser by Cynosure.

Laser surgery is a medical procedure that uses laser light to remove diseased tissues or treat bleeding blood vessels. Laser surgery may also be used for cosmetic purposes, such as removing wrinkles, tattoos, or birthmarks.  The new laser at the MedSpa is the most comprehensive laser system available.  It is designed for all skin types and is optimized for effective treatment of unwanted hair, facial and leg veins, sun-damaged skin as well as benign epidermal pigmented lesions (age spots, sunspots and freckles).

WellSpan plastic surgeons Beth McCampbell and Samuel Yost Jr. have received special training on the new laser equipment and provide care at the MedSpa.  In addition to laser treatment, both physicians provide a full range of reconstructive plastic surgery, including removal of skin cancers, skin and muscle flaps, breast reduction and reconstruction, scar revision and repair of traumatic injuries and facial fractures.

To find out if laser treatment can help you, call the MedSpa at Wyntre Brook at (717) 741-4090.
